JESUS IN MY LIFE:INTRODUCTION- EPISODE1
John 15:4-5
4 Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit by itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in me. 5 I am the vine; you are the branches. Whoever abides in me and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing. [ESV].
I got to talk about Jesus today. Everyone talks about Jesus, we read about him in the bible. On Sunday Morning,7.00am you are in church to meet Jesus Christ. Many people go to the church coming back home gaining nothing except for the fact that they danced to glorify GOD. This is happening because most Christians in the 21st century don't know the Value of Jesus in their Life. Life is not all about going to church, its about your personal relationship with Jesus. It is not surprising that many people dont know the reason why we need Jesus.
The bible says in the book of John 1:4 that In him was life,[a] and the life was the light of men. 5 The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.
Jesus himself is the life, without Jesus in our life we are dead. The word 'DEAD' may not really mean the physical death. When Jesus is out of your life, you are left alone in the danger of the world. when Jesus is out of your life, it becomes obvious that the devil will take charge. DON'T FORGET THIS: The life of a man can never be void, someone must fill it. Its either Jesus Christ or the Devil. so, we are certain now that when Jesus is not in your life, the Devil is in charge. When the devil is in charge, he takes over and now has a full control over the life of such a person.
Let me give this illustration; your performed well in your school examination, you dad can afford to buy you a phone to reward you. Now the devil is in charge, he can afford to reward you by tormenting your life, creating a rough and rugged road in life, and at the end give you a place in hell.
When Jesus is in your life, your greatness is sure, he gives a smooth road to your future.
